PULP GIRLS She-Spartan

Okay kids! Time to get jiggy with it...

I've been workin all year on a top secret project, of uber coolness, with a whole bunch of incredibly kick ass artists, and although things are still developing, San Diego Comic-Con is time to make the project official

So, here's the first piece of art that I've shared from concepts and characters I'm having a ball creating (outside the amazing artists I've had the fortune to work with so far on the project)...

This is a gal you DA folks might recognize, as a sketch I posted here last year is part of the genesis or her, and the project!!!

I simply call her, SHE-SPARTAN!

I know I'm not the only one who went ape $#!t for 300, or the only one to do a 300 fan art, or even the only one to put a sexy chick in Spartan gear, but, I couldn't resist making more of it.

This is a print I've done up for SDCC, and there will also be a limited edition preview book (just note me if you're interested and can't make the con)!!

About She-Spartan:
Legend tells of 300 Spartans who bravely held off invasion from the Persian army, but what you may not know, is that some stories told of a female Spartan warrior, perhaps their greatest, who also fought that day... The She-Spartan.

The only child her parents could bear, when her mother died at child birth she was raised by her father as if she were the son he couldn’t have. Secretly trained in the ways of the Spartan warrior, and because hers was one from the strongest lineage of the Spartans, she excelled in the art of battle. But there came a day when her gender could no longer be denied, or covered up.

It was on this day that instead of relinquishing her shield, she defended herself against an entire legion, and her skills, among the greatest of the warriors, could not be denied.

Still, unwilling to let a woman into their ranks, the Spartans decided to send her on a test, to travel to far off lands and best their strongest warriors, and strangest foes...

Now, cast out, the She-Spartan never gives up on her destiny to one day return a true warrior of Sparta, and stand shoulder to shoulder with her male peers.
