It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

With con season ramping up (I'm at Wondercon this weekend), I thought it was time to make available a short story I did a couple years ago for the Josh Howard Viper Comics SASQUATCH anthology, YETi, in it's very own book.

It was a short cartoonish sci-fi story with a bit of a twist that features a dare I say cute, and quite possibly furry, titular character, YETi.
But it's not all fluffy cuteness and toonish joy... oh no, YETi has much more bubbling beneath the surface...

The book reworks/updates the artwork from the anthology, and is now available both in print and digital PDF download from the new YETi website [link]

okay heres the deal... it's almost Con Time... lets try and get a Zombie comic togeather, you, me and dan... if we use the cons for a big deadline then it should kick us up the arse to get it done... black and white (because then you can be really gory inside and people dont complain as much)

Though dunno about Dan, he's waffling between a new project and more ZT, and currently back to more ZT (supposedly working out new story ideas while in vacation paradise), so this could either help him, or just be too much too soon... though, probably could get a few pages out him (just like me).

Your squishy brains sounds fun, but feels a bit like Marvel Zombies... I'm diggin on Zombie commandos more... what are you thinking? (prolly SB cuz it's newer and shiner I'd wager)

the great thing about a deadline is it's written in stone (thats why the ten commandments helped, if someone gave ya hassle you twatted them with a big peice of stone)

I've already penciled a 6 page Squishy brains pice, i'm sure dan could knock out a 6 pager, and if you do a 6 pager thats at least 18 pages already

I'll tell you about mine in a Note lol
